Have just watched. Tears of joy and pain. Look forward to seeing all of you soon. Dahlia's post is worth perhaps entering more "formally" on this site and others. Have posted to Facebook Public. Watch as the likes come in!

As a mother of three sons watching this really resonated on a deep, emotional and personal level. From an early age the conversation was always about War..from World War 1, World War 2, Korea, and then as a young adult Vietnam. Growing up it seemed 'normal' every generation of men participated in some sort of fighting in the military. As a child I used to ask WHY? and as an adult I still ask the same question. I spent Mother's Day with two of my three sons and my husband, non of them have been in the military. It was very different in my previous life. Grandad, dad, all my uncles, and my first husband had been to war, leaving deep personal scars upon them and the family. All my relatives in England, including my mum and sister, experienced the bombing due to living in a large industrial city in the Midlands. The emotional scars of war stay long after the actual killing is over.
It's time for humanity to evolve past the carnage of war, we need to stop repeating the same old pattern of mindless slaughter generation after generation all in the name of business, power and profit.

Bravo for THE TRUTH ABOUT MOTHER'S DAY....Street Theatre will awaken the conscience of the public....Where there is ART there is hope!

[...] Nevertheless, I have received a copy of the audio recording sent to me personally by Australian documentary-maker Catherine Vogan, who has reviewed materials directly recorded by the public in Adelaide. In a personal communication I received yesterday she also confirms “to 100 per cent” that the transcriptions I publish here are correct and authentic.
