Julian Assange and Slovenian Philosopher Slavoj Žižek – London, July 2 2011

WikiLeaks Editor-In-Chief Julian Assange and Slovenian Philosopher Slavoj Žižek in conversation with Democracy Now!’s Amy Goodman. What might have been a confrontation turned into a salute and validation of the unique, “terrorist” role of JA and Wikileaks.
“If he’s a terrorist, what the hell are those he denounces?”

Julian smiles
On this his 40th birthday, Julian Assange cracks a smile…

  1. Orwellian Times says:

If only our governments would have these types of debates …. why do we not hear of these types of alternatives being discussed in the United Nations (UN) or in the broader political sphere? – In the west we claim our countries are democratic and yet a discussion of this nature is pushed to the side and called extreme or delusional by the powers that be. The roits in the UK, the uprisings around the planet need to be a wake up call to all in government and the corporate elitists they protect. The people are no longer happy to sit idly by and watch as thier lives are continually malaised by greedy self-interested power structures, and those governing them. Congratulations to Zizek and Assange for telling it how it is …. no spin, just reality that we are changing.
